How do i get some bagels?

Come by the Red Hen Popup Shop on Saturdays or Sundays at Red Sauce!

Bagels, cream cheese, bagel sandwiches, and coffee are available for walk-up service from 7:30 a.m. –11:30 a.m. (or until sold out!). Dine in or take out!

Can i pre-order bagels and cream cheese?

Yes! To secure your favorites, head to the Preorder Bagels page. Just select your pickup day (Saturday or Sunday), then choose your bagels and cream cheeses.

How do I store my bagels to keep them fresh?

Enjoy your bagels the day you pick them up or within two days by keeping them in their paper bag on your counter. If you don’t plan on eating them in the first two days I recommend freezing them as soon as you can. Either slice and freeze or keep them whole.

Note: Never store them in the fridge — this will make them stale faster!

Are the bagels vegan?

Most of our bagels from our standard menu are vegan. The Egg, Egg Everything and Black Sesame Chopped Chocolate bagels are not vegan!

Do you make gluten-free bagels?

We like to leave gluten-free baking to the experts who specialize in it. While we don’t make gluten-free bagels ourselves, there are plenty of great local bakers in Portland who offer them.
